In The Spotlight – With Victoria Howe
Welcome to the first edition of my new interview series “In The Spotlight”. Over the next few weeks I’ll be interviewing bloggers/youtubers. The whole idea of this was so that others could hear tips from other bloggers whilst at the same time giving said bloggers exposure.
This weeks guest is Blogger and Youtuber Victoria Howe! I’ll be leaving all of Victoria’s links at the end of the interview so please feel free to check those out!
So lets begin…
How long have you been blogging for?
I’ve been blogging for about a year and a half now, I started when I was in my 2nd year at Newcastle College studying for my undergrad and now I’ve just started to study my masters at Northumbria.
Which do you prefer; blogging or vlogging?
I’ve never really been asked this question before, and to be honest I think I prefer vlogging as I get to show more of my life and hopefully help more people that are in the same situation.
As well as being a blogger you’re also a youtuber, was it nerve-wracking filming your first video?
Definitely. I had no idea how people were going to react to me and my videos and if they were any good. Since my first video I’ve gained so much more confidence filming and have had so many positive comments and support from doing this.

What are your blogger/youtuber goals?
To help people who may be going through the same things as me, to carry on having fun and hopefully get to be a Youtuber as a career.
Ohhhh tricky one, I think it has to be a kebab!! Haha
What’s your go to beauty product?
Has to be the Elemis Pro-Radiance Hand and Nail Cream! The smell is so nice and always helps my hands recover from the cold and winter weather.
Halloween or Christmas?
Any tips for people wanting to blog or vlog?
Honestly, just do it!! You may be scared of how people will react and if you are doing it correctly but you won’t learn without doing and you can always build on the mistakes you make along the way!!
