In The Spotlight – With Zoe Jackson
Welcome to another edition of ‘In The Spotlight’. This week I’ll be interviewing Blogger Zoe Jackson. You can find all of Zoe’s links below after the interview!
Let’s jump straight in shall we?!
How long have you been blogging for?
I have been blogging only for 3 months so far but created my blog August last year. Pregnancy halted my blogging time until now.
What’s your favourite thing about blogging?
Learning new things from fellows bloggers, also I think my favourite thing is the community of bloggers that exists, everyone is supportive and so nice, not how I imagined them to be. Now I have the confidence to talk to other bloggers I’m no longer surprised if they tweet/reply back to me because everyone’s so nice.
What’s your go to product?
One product I cant not live without all year round is my lip balm, for some reason I was cursed with sore, cracked, dry lips in the summer and winter and I always struggled to find a lip palm that exactly helped. Until I found Palmers Cocoa Butter Lip Balm. It is just amazing and it smells like chocolate.
Body shop or lush?
I love Body shop products but you can’t beat an experience going into Lush. I love their bath bombs.
What got you into blogging?
I blogged through college as my way of dealing with my depression but quit when people I knew found it and used it against me, therefore I swore I’d never blog again but I’ve always loved writing and when I started writing the first draft of my novel I wanted something personal I can write on that would help me write when I’m struggling with writers block and inspiration for my novel.
Favourite thing about Christmas?
Now I’m a mum it’s watching my girls opening their presents and getting excited. Oh and the Christmas chocolates and treats it’s acceptable to eat at Christmas.
What are your blogging goals?
As it’s just a hobby I would love for my blog just to stay true to who I am and be honest and relatable to anyone who reads my posts.
Sweets or chocolate?
Chocolate all the way, everyday if my diet would allow it. Haha
Any advice for people looking to start a blog?
Just be yourself, believe in what you’re writing. Be authentic and original even if you want to do what everyone else does, do it but do it your way.
I hope you all enjoyed Zoe’s interview. Many Thanks to Zoe for doing this and taking part. Credit to her for the photo too!
