Remembering The 90’s
I loved the 90’s. It was the era in which I grew up in, an era in which everything was pretty care free. We played out till late, we formed our own Spice Girls group and we sat down on a Saturday morning from 9-12 to watch Live and Kicking or SMTV, we all had a pair of round and colourful sunglasses that pretty much resembled the ones Oasis wore and our parents brought us Shell suits – still not sure how I feel about the latter lol. But all of this made me realise how much I loved the 90’s and thus it inspired me to make a post on all the great things about the 90’s
Television shows
There was a whole host of TV shows that I watched in the 90’s, so much so that im gonna make a little list of them all because who doesn’t love a good list right?!
- Fresh Prince Of Bel Air
- The Crystal Maze
- SMTV
- Biker Grove
- The Queen’s Nose
- ZZAP
- Gladiators
- Fun House
- Finders Keepers
- Saved by the bell
I could actually go on forever but this gives you a taster of what I enjoyed watching!
Music
So what did I listen to through the 90’s?
- Oasis
- Steps
- Take That
- Backstreet boys
- Nirvana
- Metallica
- Blur
- Celine Dion
As you can tell my taste was quite varied way back then!!
Clothes
Now apart from the knitted jumpers that my dear gran knitted me, there were other certain items of clothing that my parents put on me.
The 90’s were colourful and this reflected in the clothing. I owned a rather colourful and blinding shell suit. It would rustle every time I walked and people could see me coming for miles! Body suits were also a thing that came out in the 90’s. A couple of things that you could find on your local market!
But what I want to know is, what do you remember from the 90’s?! What was your favourites and what memories do you have? Let me know in the comment section below!
Until next time lovelies

June 12, 2017 at 1:34 pmI loved the 90s! The bad dress sense, the mud, the toys! Even the sweets! It was such a great time, although I remember it from a child’s perspective i really do wish times were like that again. The cheesy children’s tv shows were brilliant! So many innuendos haha ZZAP was one of my absolute favourites for sure.
