Christmas films I’m loving

Christmas is not Christmas without watching your favourite Christmas films! It adds to the atmosphere and there is nothing better then being in from the cold feet up with a hot chocolate in hand watching Elf right?!

I wanted to share with you not necessarily my favourite Christmas films but Christmas films that I’ve watched recently and will probably end up watching again!

Scrooged

One of the first things that I am loving about this film is how it’s a twist on ‘A Christmas Carol’ a very modern twist may I add. Bill Murray never fails to make me laugh and I’ve always been a massive fan of his!

Nativity

Me and the kids love Nativity, its festive and the kids that act in this film are brilliant! Mr poppy is the teaching assistant we all wish we had at school and I adore Martin Freeman.

The Santa Clause

One I recently brought on DVD to add to my ever growing Christmas collection! The Santa Clause is funny, heart-warming, witty and it make’s me incredibly emotional! Aside from that Disney made this movie so that would explain the need to cry…because Disney do that right, they just love to make you cry.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

I love Chevy Chase and it makes me sad that his getting so much older now because I love his films and this beauty is no exception! I don’t often see this on many people’s lists but I’ve always been a sucker for under-rated films!

Love Actually

Hugh Grant, Colin Firth that’s enough reason to watch a film as it is let alone adding a multitude of some of the best English actors there are and then obviously it’s a Christmas film…winner!

Home Alone

If you have never watched this movie then where have you even been my friend?! Home Alone is a classic and such a good film, although it does leave you wondering how Kevin’s Dad can afford such a big house and take all 9 of them on a holiday to paris…

As per the usual I would love to know what you’ve been loving at the moment in terms of Christmas movies..lets see some different ones that aren’t normally mentioned!
